RICHARD SANDERS

Total Trees Managing Director
Richard founded and launched Total Trees in 2005. Richard is passionate about service quality in arboriculture and vegetation management.  Focusing on efficiency, professionalism and delivering the highest standards for health & safety, Richard drives quality, value and customer service every day.

Richard is proud of his contribution in helping Total Trees to grow its turnover by 1000% over the past 10 years and believes success is achieved through hard working teams who are committed to providing excellent service at all levels.

Richard is a country sportsman and in his free time likes travel to France to take on the challenges of big carp fishing, where times allows.

He has been married to Joanne for 3 years and has a daughter who fills the remainder of his spare time.

JOANNE SANDERS

Total Trees Operations Director
Joanne joined Total Trees in 2011. For a number of years, she focused on bringing in new customers and attracting and retaining talent within the company.  She brought in new contracts with an array of blue chip companies, expanded sales into new sectors and co-lead company expansion. 

​More significantly, she has concentrated on making Total Trees a great place to work with opportunities for professional advancement and personal growth.  Along with managing the HR team, she has developed team building events, and professional development programmes.  Joanne strongly believes that people are the heart of any company and continues to drive the personnel agenda in the business.

Joanne holds a Masters of Management and Marketing from the Nottingham Business School, and graduated with a MSc in Biomedical Sciences from Nottingham Trent University.  She lives near Nottingham with her husband Richard and daughter.
